Back to Belly Dance!

After a relaxing summer (all be it it with lots of dance and drum practise!!!) it's back to belly dance with gusto!
Lots of events on the horizon, kicking off with my regular classes as follows:

Uckfield, Belmont Centre
10th Sep 2014
7 - 8pm Beginners, Intermediates and Beyond
8.05 - 9.05pm Intermediates/Performers

Albourne, Village Hall
11th Sep 2014
7- 8pm Beginners, Intermediates and Beyond

Next up, here's a question for you: How often do you get the opportunity to dance to live music?
I'm betting the answer is not often or never. For dancers, live music brings a wholly different dimension to dance and triggers something deeply creative in a performer.
The good news is that, while opportunities to dance to live music are rare, I will be playing at Hossam and Serena Ramzy's Live Music Workshops, alongside the Drummer Queens on the 20th and 21st of September at the Dance Attic studios in Fulham. Further info and spaces available HERE

October sees the return of the mighty Club Baklava in East Grinstead. I won't spill the beans on who is performing but the show looks set to be epic! Tickets available HERE

October performances continue with the 'Sheikh It Show' in Henley on Thames on Wednesday the 22nd. A chance to catch some esteemed and quality performers from throughout the UK. The show protrays the development of belly dance from folkoric through to fusion - so certainly something for everyone! Info and tickets available HERE

Finally, (I shall leave it at October for now, but plenty more to come!) Lianna Green presents her long awaited 'Egyptian Nights'. Lianna and I are working on an exciting duet and a trio with the awesome Sabrynah - Bollywood a go go and then some!! Info and tickets available HERE

So much to prepare for but lots of exciting things to look forward to :)
